Redland City Council
2026 ongoing
As the local government authority for the eastern region of greater Brisbane, Redland City Council incorporates mainland Queensland from Redland Bay to Thorneside and inland to Capalaba, as well as North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah), Coochiemudlo Island (Goochie Mudlo), and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands (Karragarra, Lamb, Macleay and Russell Islands). Within the Council, Redlands Coast promotes the areas natural beauty, attractions, events and lifestyle to visitors and investors. With over 60 business areas within Redland City Council, the design work I had the privilege to produce during my contract was diverse and ranged from strategic tourism campaigns to informative Council initiatives and creative internal events promoted within the organisation.
Redlands Coast Winter Tourism Campaign 2026

With the aim to encourage residents in the greater Brisbane area to visit the Redlands Coast during the winter season, the Winter Tourism campaign was deployed across digital channels, such as Meta and Google, as well as prominent out-of-home sites on the Pacific Motorway. Using spectacular imagery of the area as a base, I created custom ripple patterns to suit each image and interact with the subjects as wind or water would do.
Redlands Coast Tourism and Events Forum Collateral
The Redlands Coast Tourism and Events Forum is an annual event that invites tourism operators, local business and industry leaders to come together and connect. For 2026, the event program required a refresh with a particular focus on improved legibility and information hierarchy.

Monthly Double Page Spread Press Ads
Image 1: Double Page spread for July 2026, 2026-27 budget theme
Image 2: Double Page spread for May 2026, AdventureFest theme
As part of Council’s commitment to the community, each month a double page spread press ad is released in three key publications across the Redlands Coast. During my time with Council, I had the opportunity to complete two of these press ads with the themes of AdventureFest and the 2026-27 Council budget. These ads are a crucial part of community communications and need to be informative, well laid out, and engaging to a large cross-section of Redland City residents.
Eastern Escarpment Wayfinding Map
With an extensive set of wayfinding assets across Redlands Coast, I had an opportunity to complete an overhaul of the Eastern Escarpment Conservation Area map to improve legibility for hikers and mountain bikers who wish to access the area. Working closely with the Open Spaces business area, we were able to collaborate on solutions that offered more detail on each track, a more streamlined and easy to read map graphic, as well as a layout that ensures important information is quickly identifiable in emergency situations.

With climate change set to cause future disruption to our weather systems, the Disaster Management business area is an important part of Council’s commitment to the community. With themes around bushfires, storms – and even tsunamis – collateral produced for this area of Council has a unique look and feel. Pictured above is a press ad for bushfire season and how to prepare your home and collateral for Exercise Poseidon, the 2026 disaster preparedness exercise event that aims to improve mobilised disaster responses in Redland City.
